Declaration of Faith, Vision and Mission
Our Declaration of Faith
- We believe that God is one God in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternally existing as the Trinity.
- We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible, being completely trustworthy, and without error, and in its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Holy and without sin, he gave Himself and shed His blood for the redemption of humanity, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day return in power and glory according to His promise.
- We believe in the universal sinfulness of humanity and the need for salvation, received by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, through which believers are justified, sanctified, and empowered to live holy lives.
- We believe in the holy universal Church, which is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers, and in its mission to bear witness to Christ and proclaim the good news of the Gospel to all nations.
Our vision
- To reach this generation of Chinese intellectuals for Christ!
Our mission
- Reaching Chinese Intellectuals for Christ in this Generation.
- According to reports, there were around 170,000 students from mainland China studying in the UK in 2017, and in 2016 approximately 35% returned to China after completing their studies — the highest return rate among overseas study destinations. Yet fewer than 1% of these students currently have the opportunity to hear the Gospel, revealing a significant spiritual need.
- Called by God, the UK Ambassadors for Christ Association works in partnership with local churches to reach Chinese students, scholars, and professionals in the UK. We seek to lead them to Christ, equip them as disciples, encourage them to integrate their faith with their culture, and empower them to serve Christ as a vital force in God’s Kingdom.
What Is the British Chinese Mission Conference?
The British Chinese Mission Conference is more than just a gathering of Chinese churches – it reflects God’s work unfolding according to His plan. The conference is a missions ministry that, by God’s grace, has become a well-known platform that crosses churches, denominations, and organisations, encouraging and mobilising Chinese Christians to share the Gospel both with fellow Chinese communities and through cross-cultural missions.
The ultimate goal of the UK Chinese Mission Conference is to mobilise Chinese Christians from all walks of life who are called by God to become Christ’s ambassadors, bringing the Gospel to local Chinese communities, non-Chinese communities, and unreached peoples. The conference is committed to helping individuals and churches in the UK participate in Christ’s Great Commission to take the Gospel to all nations.
During the four-day conference, participants will hear impactful mission-focused messages, attend specialised seminars, engage face-to-face with missionaries and mission organisations, and join in worship and prayer. Since its launch in 2011, more than a thousand participants have attended the conference, and many churches, organisations, and individuals have been equipped and encouraged through it.
- The conference also includes a dedicated children’s programme, where children receive Bible-based teaching to help them grow as disciples of Christ.
Background of the British Mission Conference
With over 40 years of history behind the wider movement, the first Chinese Mission Conference in the UK was organised by the Ambassadors for Christ in 2011. Many churches, organisations, and individuals have benefited from past conferences.
Scripture clearly teaches us to proclaim God’s glory among all nations and to make disciples of all peoples. In this new era, the need to fulfil the Great Commission is greater than ever. This is the time for the harvest. The vision and purpose of the conference do not end when the event concludes. The UK Ambassadors for Christ Association continues to partner with churches, individuals, and mission organisations to provide follow-up support and care for those called to full-time ministry or bi-vocational service.
Vision and Mission

Who Is the Conference For?
Previous UK Chinese Mission Conferences were organised by the Ambassadors for Christ Association (USA). Beginning with the fifth conference in 2021, the event has been jointly organised by the Ambassadors for Christ Association (USA) and the UK Ambassadors for Christ Association.
The UK Ambassadors for Christ Association welcomes and invites pastors and believers from churches with a heart for missions to participate in planning and serving, so that the conference may be richly blessed by God and play its intended role in promoting Chinese mission work in the UK.
Founded in 2018, the UK Ambassadors for Christ Association is committed to partnering with churches and organisations to share the Gospel with Chinese students and scholars of this generation. Through campus ministry, missions ministry, training programmes, and conferences, it seeks to mobilise and equip them to become a vital force in God’s Kingdom.
Training Ministry
Our Training Ministry works in partnership with local Chinese churches and fellowships to raise up believers with a vision and calling for missions. Through the courses “Life-on-Life Discipleship Training” and “Leadership Training After God’s Heart,” we aim to equip brothers and sisters who can independently lead discipleship training, actively share the Gospel, and serve as co-workers and pastoral assistants within local churches and fellowships.
The Ambassadors for Christ Association provides the Life-on-Life Discipleship Training materials free of charge. Where needed, we also assist local churches in obtaining the Leadership Training After God’s Heart materials.
Many churches have partnered with the UK Ambassadors for Christ Association and have seen encouraging results after implementing our discipleship and leadership training systems. If your church is interested in partnering with us, please contact us at: info@ukafc.org
